Wellness consultations
A measured, factual assessment of whether a proposed injection or infusion is appropriate for you: what the evidence says, what it can and cannot do, and what the alternatives are.
An honest view
Evidence, limitations, risks and alternatives.
Wellness treatments are widely promoted and often overstated. Jodie's role is different: to assess whether a particular injection or infusion is appropriate for you as an individual, and to be straightforward about what the evidence supports.
That includes checking for deficiencies or clinical need where relevant, discussing the realistic benefit, the limitations and the risks, and considering simpler alternatives first. You will leave with a clear picture, whether or not treatment is recommended.
Any treatment offered reflects the specific services Jodie is qualified and equipped to provide, and is discussed in detail during the consultation.
Is it appropriate?
Your health, history and medications are reviewed first. Some treatments are simply not suitable for some people, and Jodie will tell you.
What does the evidence say?
Claims are assessed against the actual treatment and the actual benefit claimed. Where evidence is thin, you will hear that plainly.
What are the alternatives?
Often the most useful advice is the least glamorous. Alternatives are always part of the conversation.
