Patient & booking terms

Our terms, in plain English.

These terms apply to appointments with Jodie Gordon at The Prescribing Suite, Banana Beauty Lab, and to use of this website. By booking an appointment you agree to them.

Last reviewed 8 October 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

The Prescribing Suite is the private practice of Jodie Gordon, Registered Nurse and Nurse Independent / Supplementary Prescriber (NMC PIN 00B1033O), practising from Banana Beauty Lab, 343 Fulham Palace Road, London SW6 6TD. Contact: 07769 906622 or jodiegordon66@btinternet.com.

2. Booking an appointment

You can request an appointment through this website, by telephone or by email. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation of the date and time. Before your first appointment you will be sent a link to the clinic's secure patient forms to complete your medical history. Please complete them in advance; without a completed history the consultation may need to be rearranged.

3. Consultation fees

Consultation fees are published on the your appointment page and are payable at the time of booking or on the day, as confirmed with you. The fee covers Jodie's time and clinical assessment, whatever the outcome. It is not a deposit against treatment and there is no obligation to proceed with any treatment. Where treatment is recommended, its cost is explained in full during the consultation before anything is agreed.

4. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments

  • Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment, by telephone or email, so the time can be offered to someone else.
  • Cancellations or changes with less than 48 hours' notice, and appointments that are missed without notice, are charged a cancellation fee of £50. Where a consultation fee has already been paid, £50 of it is retained and the balance refunded.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late it may not be possible to complete the consultation safely in the remaining time. Jodie will do her best, but the appointment may need to be rebooked and the late-cancellation fee may apply.
  • If the practice has to cancel or move your appointment, you will be offered the next available alternative or a full refund of any fee paid. The practice is not responsible for other costs, such as travel, arising from a cancellation.
  • Genuine emergencies and illness are treated with discretion. Please let us know as soon as you can.

5. Suitability and clinical discretion

All treatment is subject to clinical assessment. Jodie may decline, postpone or alter a treatment where she judges it not to be safe or appropriate for you, including on the day. Where this happens, you will be told why. A consultation fee remains payable; no charge is made for a treatment that does not go ahead.

6. Prescribing and consent

Jodie prescribes only after a face-to-face consultation and documented clinical assessment, in line with Nursing and Midwifery Council guidance. Prescription-only medicines are not advertised on this website. Any treatment requires your written, informed consent, taken through the clinic's secure patient forms after the risks, benefits, limitations and alternatives have been explained. Where a cooling-off period applies, treatment is booked for a later date so you have time to consider.

7. Age

Consultations and treatments are available to adults aged 18 and over only. Photographic identification may be requested.

8. Your responsibilities

Please give accurate and complete information about your health, medications, allergies and previous treatments, and tell us if anything changes. Please follow the aftercare advice you are given and attend review appointments. Failure to do so may affect your results and the care Jodie is able to provide.

9. Photographs

Clinical photographs may be taken as part of your record, with your consent. They are stored securely with your clinical records and are never used for marketing, social media or this website without your separate, explicit written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

10. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change, but a price confirmed to you in writing for a booked appointment will be honoured. Payment is accepted by card or bank transfer. Fees for treatment are payable on the day unless otherwise agreed.

11. Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell us. Our complaints procedure sets out how to raise a concern and how quickly you will hear back.

12. Liability

Jodie Gordon holds professional indemnity and medical malpractice insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. The practice is not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you booked, or that result from inaccurate information you gave or from not following aftercare advice.

13. Use of this website

14. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
