Aesthetic consultations

A calm, private appointment to understand what concerns you, discuss the options that are genuinely appropriate, and agree on realistic expectations before anything else.

The emphasis

Assessment and clinical approach.

Aesthetic treatment is medical treatment, and Jodie approaches it that way. The consultation is a proper clinical assessment: your medical history, medications, previous treatments, skin and facial anatomy, and the result you are hoping for.

From there, Jodie will explain what is likely to help, what is not, and what she would recommend if you were a member of her own family. Expectations are set honestly, including the limits of what any treatment can do.

If treatment is appropriate, it is planned and documented. If it isn't, Jodie will say so.

What the consultation covers

Unhurried, thorough, in person.

Your concerns, in your words

What you have noticed, what bothers you, and what a good outcome would look like for you.

Medical history and suitability

Health conditions, medications, allergies, previous procedures and anything that affects whether treatment is safe and sensible.

Face-to-face clinical assessment

A documented examination, as required by NMC guidance before any prescribing for an elective cosmetic procedure.

Options, risks and alternatives

Including the option of no treatment. Jodie explains benefits, limitations, risks and recovery honestly.

A plan, if appropriate

Agreed together with a cooling-off period where relevant, written consent, and follow-up booked before you leave.

Why we don't list treatments or prices for prescription products. Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public in the UK. Jodie discusses specific treatments only after a clinical assessment, in the consultation.
