FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Practical things people want to know before booking. If your question isn't here, call or email and Jodie will answer it directly.

Do I need a consultation before any treatment?

Yes. Every patient has a face-to-face consultation and documented clinical assessment with Jodie first. For aesthetic prescribing this is an NMC requirement, and Jodie applies the same standard across the practice.

Will I be treated on the same day as my consultation?

Usually not for a first visit. The consultation is for assessment and discussion. Where a cooling-off period applies, treatment is booked for a later date so you have time to consider everything you have been told.

Who will I see?

Jodie Gordon, at every appointment. She is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Independent & Supplementary Prescriber, on the NMC register since 2000. You can verify her registration on the public NMC register using PIN 00B1033O.

Why don't you list treatments or prices for specific medicines?

UK regulations prohibit advertising prescription-only medicines to the public, directly or indirectly. Jodie discusses specific treatments only after a clinical assessment, in the consultation. Consultation fees themselves are published on the your appointment page.

Is the consultation fee refundable if I don't go ahead?

The consultation fee covers Jodie's time and clinical assessment, whatever the outcome. There is no obligation to proceed with any treatment, and you will never be pressured to.

How is my health information handled?

Medical history and consent are collected through the clinic's secure patient forms, not through this website. Your records are kept confidentially in line with UK data protection law and professional guidance. See the privacy notice.

What happens if I have a concern after treatment?

You will have written aftercare and the practice's contact details. For anything urgent, call during clinic hours. For anything that feels like an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E, then let the practice know.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to your consultation.

Where is the clinic and how do I get there?

The Prescribing Suite is within Banana Beauty Lab at 343 Fulham Palace Road, London SW6 6TD. Putney Bridge (District line) is a short walk, and several buses stop along Fulham Palace Road. See visit us.

Do you offer prescribing support to other practitioners?

Yes, within professional guidance and only following a face-to-face assessment of the patient. See for practitioners.

What if I need to cancel or move my appointment?

Please give at least 48 hours' notice by phone or email. Cancellations with less notice, and missed appointments, are charged a £50 cancellation fee. If we have to move your appointment, you will be offered the next available time or a full refund. See the patient & booking terms.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. Consultations and treatments are for adults aged 18 and over. Photographic ID may be requested.

How do I make a complaint?

Please raise any concern with Jodie directly first; most things can be resolved quickly in conversation. Our complaints procedure sets out the formal route, response times and how to escalate.
